Three out-of-state men were arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop Monday night on Interstate 80.
State police pulled over a Ford Explorer occupied by Michael Donovan, 31, of Teaneck, N.J., Wellington Gomez, 31, of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Wilmer Bueno, 26, of New York, N.Y., at 11:30 p.m. because of “multiple vehicle violations,” and a search of the vehicle was conducted, according to court documents.
Police said about four ounces of marijuana, about two ounces of a “white powdery substance” and drug paraphernalia were found in the vehicle. Troopers said Bueno also had a small bag of cocaine, according to court documents.
Each faces a combination of felony and misdemeanor drug charges. The men were arraigned Tuesday morning before District Judge Allen Sinclair. He set bail at $25,000 each and the three were taken to Centre County Correctional Facility. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 5.
