A Centre Hall man was hit with three criminal attempt charges Sunday after allegedly trying to take nude photos of a minor.
According to state police, the 14-year old female victim was taking a bath at her residence when Larry Chronister, 34, allegedly entered the bathroom and used his cellphone to take photos over the top of the shower curtain.
Police said he was unsuccessful in his attempt in capturing photos of the victim. During the investigation, Chronister admitted attempting to take nude photographs of the victim.

Chronister was arraigned Sunday before Magisterial District Judge Allen Sinclair. He was charged with unlawful contact with a minor, design/copy of obscene material and invasion of privacy. Bail was set at $25,000. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 12.
