Penn State student reports attempted assault to university police

An attempted assault was reported at about 2 a.m. Saturday, according to a Penn State police press release.

The incident occurred between 11 and 11:30 p.m. Friday in parking lot Orange F, which is adjacent to Holuba Hall.

A female student told police that a white man attempted to push her inside of her vehicle by grabbing her shoulder, but she was able to get in her car and drive away. She described the man as white, in his late 20s and with no facial hair. He was wearing a Limp Bizkit sweater and jeans.

“It can be assumed that conditions continue to exist that may pose a threat to members and guests of the university community,” police said in the release.
