Penn State investigating theft in Ford Building
A man entered the Ford Building’s personal offices without authorization Monday and took money from wallets and purses, according to a Penn State release.
The suspect, a college-aged black man, allegedly stole money between 10 and 10:30 a.m. He is about 6-foot-4 with a thin build and facial hair. He had on dark sweat pants, an orange shirt and a blue or green windbreaker.
Penn State police are seeking any information to identify the man. They can be contacted at 863-1111 or Centre County Crime Stoppers at tip@centrecountycrimestoppers.org.
Police also advised people to not leave personal items unattended, report items stolen immediately and to report crimes.
