Tyrone woman arrested after attacking state trooper, police say

One woman was arrested after police say she became violent with a state trooper.

Brittany Ann Miller, 19, of Tyrone, was visibly intoxicated and agitated at about 10:20 p.m. Wednesday on Oak Hill Lane in Snyder Township, according to a release by state police at Hollidaysburg. A state trooper who attempted to give Miller medical attention was on the receiving end of flying fists, the report said.

Miller resisted arrest, according to police, but was taken into custody and then to Blair County jail. She was charged with felony aggravated assault, misdemeanor simple assault, misdemeanor resisting arrest and misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

She was released Thursday on $15,000 unsecured bail.
