Handgun taken from parked vehicle

A handgun was taken from a parked vehicle in the Centre Region.

Ferguson Township police say they are looking into the theft of a Ruger LC9 pistol from a vehicle parked on the 700 block of West Aaron Drive between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 6:45 a.m. Wednesday.

The handgun is described as black with a removable laser sight.

Police say the vehicle was locked, but the driver’s side front window was rolled down enough for someone to reach in and open the door.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police by calling 800-479-0050, by email at police@twp.ferguson.pa.us, by anonymous tip through the municipality’s website at www.twp.ferguson.pa.us or through Centre County Crimestoppers at tip@centrecountycrimestoppers.org.
