Beech Creek man facing theft charges

A Beech Creek man is facing theft charges after allegedly removing items from several vehicles in Monument, in Liberty Township.

A report from state police at Rockview said Jordan Alexander Zuback, 18, of Beech Creek, entered several vehicles overnight Monday and into Tuesday, removing items from those vehicles.

Police didn’t say what specifically was taken but encourage anyone who may have been a victim to contact police at 355-7545.

Matthew Sheffer, of Port Royal, Mifflin County, was found guilty of all charges, including child rape. State police at Rockview accused Sheffer of molesting an 11-year-old girl while her mother was at work and away from their Millheim residence.
