Student speaker: Class Vice President Levi William Hughes delivered the welcoming address.
Keynote speakers: In addition to Superintendent Gregg Paladina, the class was addressed by Class of 1987 graduate Amy Nartatez, a prominent banking executive who has been honored for her work with the American Heart Association. “I think I graduated with most of your parents. If you want dirt on them, see me after,” she joked.
Valedictorian: Jessica Rae Summerson
Salutatorian: Margaret Eleanor Peck. “Have courage and be kind,” she said in her address, a sentiment echoed in the decorations on her cap.
Graduation moment: Graduates and best friends Emma Grace Riglin and Emily Louise Kizina said goodbye to P-O and each other with the duet “For Good” from the musical “Wicked.” “Because I knew you, I have been changed for good,” they sang to each other before an emotional hug.
Class memories: “This is the smallest class in memory, but it had a lot of big characters,” Paladina said.
Graduation memory: “They told us it would go fast, and that it did,” Hughes said.
