NOTE: VOTING ENDS AT NOON TODAY. A FINAL TOTAL WILL BE TAKEN. NO VOTING WILL COUNT AFTER NOON.

Having attended every Penn State home game since 1974, Accordino could not miss a football Saturday for a wedding — even his own.

Instead, he and his wife, Tracey, were married in a civil ceremony before the season and will be married again by a minister at their tailgate for the Coastal Carolina game on Aug. 30.

“He said he couldn’t think of a better day: getting married and then going and watching Penn State play,” said Tracey Accordino, who nominated him for craziest fan.

Accordino, of State College, can be found in the stadium at the same seats he has had for 30 years, often wearing a Penn State hat, jersey, face paint or a shirt displaying game pins from all of those games. Neighbors in the stands know him for his loud and crazy behavior. “It is amazing to me that he hasn’t been tossed from a game yet,” Tracey said.

Accordino remembers statistics on players past and present and decorates his office completely with Penn State pictures, wallpaper and lamps. “I always know what to get him for holidays or his birthday,” Tracey said.
