Penn State will host a public meeting Thursday on the conversion of the West Campus steam plant from coal to natural gas, including the controversial new pipeline now set for installation on campus.
Titled “Our Energy Future: A Long-Term Commitment to Reduced Consumption and Emissions 2013-2050,” the meeting will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the HUB-Robeson Center auditorium.
Speakers will update the community on the university’s short- and long-term energy plans, including the steam plant project.
The meeting will include a question-and-answer period, and all answers will be posted at sustainability.psu.edu.
