Penn State set to graduate more than 3,500 students

Final exams wrap up this week at Penn State’s University Park campus, and on Saturday, more than 3,500 students are expected to graduate.

At University Park, 10 students are expected to have earned their associate degrees; 2,662 students will receive their baccalaureate degrees; 715 students are expected to be awarded their master’s degrees; and 203 students are expected to earn their doctoral degrees.

Penn State President Rodney Erickson will make the commencement address at the undergraduate graduations, slated for 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the Bryce Jordan Center.

Neil Sharkey, interim vice president for research at Penn State, will deliver the address during the graduate school ceremony at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, also at the Jordan Center.

The Schreyer Honors College medals ceremony will be held at 5 p.m. Friday at the Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel.
