A hearing scheduled for Thursday morning in Mike McQueary’s lawsuit against Penn State was continued until a date to be determined.
Oral arguments in McQueary’s whistleblower lawsuit were slated for 10 a.m. at the Centre County Courthouse. McQueary filed the suit in October 2012, claiming the university ruined his reputation in the wake of the Sandusky child sex abuse scandal by branding him a party to a cover-up.
He also alleges the university fired him because of his cooperation with investigators in the Sandusky case. McQueary testified that he saw Sandusky with a young boy in a shower at a Penn State football facility in 2001.
McQueary is seeking lost wages, legal costs and punitive damages from the university.
