Penn State has selected the next director of its board of trustees office in Old Main.
Jeanie Andrews, the assistant to Penn State’s vice provost for academic affairs, will start July 1. She takes over for longtime director Paula Ammerman, who is retiring at the end of June after 35 years at the university.
Andrews graduated from Penn State in 1990 with a bachelor’s degree in management and she is working on a master’s degree in public administration.
She started working at Penn State in 1996 in the Office of Human Resources and was promoted to an assistant manager there two years later. In 2007, she became the assistant for the vice president of academic affairs.
