A judge has asked the attorney for Jerry Sandusky to file arguments against a change of venire by Wednesday.
Prosecutors petitioned earlier this week for an out-of-county jury to hear the trial, citing extensive media coverage and residents’ deep connection with Penn State.
Sandusky’s attorney, Joe Amendola, said he was going to oppose the motion. Any arguments will be made at a hearing Feb. 10 scheduled for Sandusky’s request to change his bail that restricts him being around anyone younger than 18. He’s asking the court to allow him to see his grandchildren on supervised visits at his home.
