Joseph E. McGettigan III

The lead prosecutor for the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office in the Sandusky case has worked two stints with both the attorney general’s office and the Philadelphia District Attorneys Office, and as a federal prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Philadelphia.

He is no stranger to high-profile cases, including the 1997 trial for multimillionaire John du Pont, who McGettigan helped convict of shooting and killing an Olympic gold-medal wrestler.

Senior Deputy Attorney General Jonelle Harter Eshbach

She began her career as a prosecutor in the York County District Attorney’s Office.

Eshbach joined the Attorney General’s Capital Litigation Unit in July 2000, litigating capital cases in both the state and federal courts. She returned to trial work in 2006, handling criminal and sex crimes prosecution along with ethics investigations involving public officials.

Chief Deputy Attorney General Frank Fina

He is chief of the Attorney General’s Criminal Prosecutions Section and Public Corruption Unit.

Fina directs criminal prosecutions and grand jury investigations. He joined the Attorney General’s Office in 2003 and has guided numerous high profile cases, including the successful public corruption prosecution of more than 20 elected officials and legislative staff members accused of using state resources for political gain.
