When I heard the news of the Garner Street lights being turned off, I thought it was a budget saving move.
Yeah, they turn some lights off on the Vegas strip to save money, why not here?
But this is to tame the crowds from terrorizing the Highlands. Really?
Has council thought about this being January to March, the coldest time of the year? Do they really think students are going to hang outside for any length of time?
This experiment belongs in the fall, if it is conducted at all.
Of course the borough will save money during this time. Maybe that's the reason after all.
