My first ever visit to the Clearfield Fair was enjoyable, as we saw the incredible Alice Cooper show on Tuesday night.
No doubt everyone in Clearfield heard Alice, but you had to be in the grandstand to see the theatrics which included the singer hanging, and recovering quickly.
"Welcome to My Nightmare" was appropriate for the show, and it was well done. It was interesting to see the young people singing the words, feeling empowered when Cooper sang "Eighteen."
Overall it was like a Steelers crowd, certainly into Cooper. And it was a nice time despite a little rain before the show.
As for the fair, all I saw was food stands. Wow, I don't think I've ever seen that many food stands. All looked good.
I'll go back for another show. Friendly people, nice venue.
