The only real election upset this round occurred in Harrisburg, where the only mayor I've ever known in the city was trounced by council president Linda Thompson.
Steve Reed, the mayor for life, served during my 18 years in Harrisburg and ever since, and it will be hard to imagine the city without him.
It'll be harder yet to imagine what he'll do, since he only really knows mayor.
He's done amazing things in Harrisburg, and he's done questionable things. The latter haunted him in this election.
