Penn State finally hit No. 1 in the party school ranking and you have to think what was different about this past year than previous years.
It's State Patty's Day, in my view, that put PSU over the top and threatens to keep it there.
University officials can say what they want, but the State Patty's Day celebration and problems caused have not been confronted locally. The borough has been stuck with the costs, and nobody even batted an eyelash when we editorialized a couple of times that Penn State should find a way to make students pay for it year in and year out.
No, let's ignore that part but there's no ignoring No. 1 in the party school survey. No doubt it's making some alums proud today.
