I have to admit that during the news budget meeting that I asked others whether photos of dead fish -- hundreds of them -- would bring a reader reaction like we get when we run photos of dead deer or bear.
Yes, believe it, here in the middle of Pennsylvania, super hunting country, you have readers who don't want to see dead deer or bear and want to pretend hunting doesn't happen.
Well, with that in mind I asked about the fish photos. The other editors said they wouldn't bring the same reaction as hunting photos, and they were right.
