Pay raise without a vote

Pennsylvanians may wonder about raises for the legislators, governor, judges and other statewide elected officials.



No vote is needed anymore. The law gives them raises every year. Nice if you can get it.



It doesn't matter what they do, or don't do, or what shape the economy and the state deficit is in.



Years ago, of course, legislators voted on pay increases. How things change.
