I applaud Attorney General Kathleen Kane’s decision to vigorously pursue the complete truth regarding the Jerry Sandusky case.
I feel very ashamed that a fellow Penn State alumnus abused young children and may have been enabled by other people. However, I feel that the punishment for these evil actions against children belongs with the criminal and civil courts, not with the NCAA. In my opinion, the NCAA sanctions against Penn State are inappropriate and have the stench of other universities’ longstanding jealousy of the legitimate accomplishments of the Penn State football players and coaches.
I agree with the outstanding lawsuit against the NCAA. I don’t think the NCAA will voluntarily reduce the sanctions, so I’m happy that someone has the backbone to confront the NCAA and hold it accountable for its actions.
