Now that the state has proposed to decrease the number of members on the Penn State board of trustees, it would be appropriate to look in the mirror at the Pennsylvania General Assembly.
It has been reported many times in the past that Pennsylvania has one of the largest legislative assemblies and, for the same reasons quoted about the Penn State board having too many members and decisions are open to many unnecessary opinions, I think the same needs to be addressed in the state.
All of the legislators don’t want to hear it, but the amount of money saved from getting rid of at least 100 legislators and their staffs would greatly decrease the extra taxes being shoved on the residents of this state.
