Kudos to the State College school board for continuing to move the State High project along in a thoughtful manner with community input.
I hope the board votes for the $85 million referendum maximum. The difference between a $75 million and $85 million maximum is only $20 a year for taxpayers. This negligible amount would allow the project to be fully realized.
An improved high school facility would promote students’ educational growth and achievement and be a boost for our community by keeping property values high and, in turn, creating a strong business community.
