The time has come to have an all-alumni board of trustees at Penn State.
A bylaw or state law needs to be enacted to keep so-called advisers, such as farmers, lawyers, doctors, etc., who are or are not alumni members, off of the board and to be just what they are — advisers.
Another thing would be to eliminate all of the governor’s appointments. However, the state legislators could and should step in if there was or is a valid reason to do so.
Marianne Alexander foresaw the obvious and bowed out, but Jesse Arnelle and Joel Myers still don’t get it. Maybe they should talk to Paul Suhey.
