Letter to the editor: A real choice in Strano Taylor

Remember when our representative, Glenn Thompson, originally ran for office?

One of his main claims was that he had been a medical worker, so he was qualified to judge health issues.

But once elected, all he did was continually vote against the people’s best interests, always siding with big drug and insurance interests, bragging all the time about his votes to defeat or weaken the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare).

More recently, sensing majority voter support for ACA, he has allowed himself to change his mind. Or has he? Nope. His handlers and bosses have allowed him to change his mind, so as to rescue his re-election bid.

How can anyone vote for Thompson, thinking that he and his staff represent the average person? Thank God, this year we have a real choice.

Vote for Kerith and for your real interests.

Roger M. Herman
