The NCAA emails that were released last week should result in outrage from the entire Penn State community.
Penn State should insist that the NCAA correct the severe injustice it committed against the university and the State College community of students, alumni, the football team, coaches, faculty, business owners, etc.
That should include the restoration of the 112 vacated football victories and the return of the bowl game trophies that were earned on the football field.
All you have to do is to read some people’s posts on the Internet or work in the business world to realize that the “scarlet letter” has been unfairly worn for several years by not only the football program but by the students, alumni and the entire community.
Although they may not fully realize it now, today’s students will very likely be branded with this “scarlet letter” when they graduate unless Penn State demands that the NCAA correct this injustice.
