Letter to the editor: Ignoring climate change a risk

Thank you for publishing Brian Burger’s letter, “Will Congress fail us again on climate change?” (CDT, April 24).

Burger correctly points out the risk of failing to address rising greenhouse gas emissions, which are warming the planet.

I was thrilled to be a part of a recent workshop training Pennsylvania’s newest chapter of Citizens’ Climate Lobby in State College. CCL is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization training citizen lobbyists all over the world to build relationships with elected officials and create the political will to solve the climate crisis.

We are all failing future generations by not making solving the climate crisis a priority in our lives. For more information including details on our market-based solution, please check out www.citizensclimatelobby.org
