Anne Lazarus, candidate for the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, served with distinction both on the Court of Common Pleas and the Pennsylvania Superior Court, where she now serves.
Judge Lazarus is “highly recommended” by the Pennsylvania Bar Association to be elected to the Supreme Court. She currently serves on the Judicial Conduct Board and was appointed chair of the ad hoc Supreme Court committee to draft a new model code of judicial conduct, adopted by the Supreme Court in 2014. She recently received the Sandra Day O’Connor Award, given by the Philadelphia Bar Association to a lawyer who has achieved the highest degree of professional excellence.
Her ethical and personal integrity is shown in the endorsements she has received, including Sen. Robert Casey; the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette; PA NOW; Americans for Democratic Action; UFCW 1776; PA Conference of Teamsters; Pennsylvania SEIU; Keystone Progress; Philly for Change; and state Rep. Scott Conklin.
On top of all this, she is a warm, friendly person with a great husband and family. I heartily endorse Judge Ann Lazarus for the Supreme Court and ask you join me on May 19 in voting for her.
