It is reasonable to request — demand — that our representative in Congress answer questions about his votes and beliefs in a town hall meeting.
Our representative refuses to do this. Why? Is he ashamed of his votes? Is he ashamed of his financial supporters?
Unlike Rep. Glenn Thompson, R-Howard Township, his opponent in the last election, Kerith Strano Taylor promised to hold two open town hall meetings with unscreened questions in State College each year.
Doesn’t Thompson owe it to the voters to answer our questions and concerns in a town hall meeting? He should come out of hiding.
