Donna Queeney’s July 21 letter (Radar, red-light cameras needed) is very interesting.
The cameras should be at every red-light controlled intersection in the state.
It is a moneymaker for the state, which is fine. If a person gets two or three citations for that they lose their license and maybe stop an accident from happening.
Many of the roads in and around State College do not have a safe place to pull someone over for a speeding violation.

After 18 years as a state trooper, there is not a road in Centre County that I have not been on.
I urge everyone who has read Queeney’s letter to contact their elected officials about this.
