Millinder has experience

Earlier this spring, we wrote a letter to the CDT expressing our support for Christine Millinder for register of wills. We wanted to re-affirm our support for Millinder as the November elections are right around the corner. Here’s our personal experience; it may be helpful to voters come Election Day.

This year we suffered a loss and my wife became executrix of her mother’s estate. We had no experience in settling an estate, so we stopped by the register of wills offices to get some help. Millinder warmly greeted us, expressed her condolences and explained what we needed to do. It took us a few months to get the paperwork organized; we stopped by at Millinder’s office a few times to get additional guidance.

With her support, we submitted our paperwork to Harrisburg. We’re waiting on the state to complete their review of our estate documentation. Once they’ve completed their review, we will make one more stop at Millinder’s office to close out the estate.

We would have struggled to do this without Millinder’s help. Her years of experience and willingness to guide us made a difficult task much easier. If you are ever called upon to settle an estate, she is the person you want by your side. Without question, she has served our family well and has earned our vote in this year’s election.
