Letters to the Editor

Letters to the editor | Millinder has proven herself

Christine Millinder has spent the past 28 years serving residents of Centre County in the Register of Wills Office.

Throughout the years, she has held several different positions — marriage license clerk, first deputy clerk of orphans’ court, chief deputy and her current position, acting register of wills.

She is by far the best candidate, as she fully understands each and every aspect of the office.

During Kimberly Barton’s two extended leaves, Millinder stepped up, using her extensive knowledge to ensure the office continues to run efficiently.

Our office has almost daily contact with Millinder. She greets everyone with a smile and always goes above and beyond to assist us with our cases, while being professional, knowledgeable, kindhearted and personable. She has clearly proven her dedication to being a public servant.

We urge everyone to vote for Millinder for Centre County register of wills on Nov. 3.
