Living in Snow Shoe and Centre County for the past 60 years, we have met a lot of dedicated, loyal people with excellent work ethics and concerns for people who live in our area.
Well, one of those such people is John Buzard, retired state trooper, past exalted ruler and trustee of Philipsburg Elks Lodge. Buzard is one of those people who have a positive impact on you as soon as you speak with him.
We mention this because his daughter, Amanda McCartney, did not fall far from the tree. McCartney is a lot like her father — wanting and willing to help people. Talk about work ethics, we have seen her in about every community at events, telling us how she cares and will be there for us.
Whether you are Democrat or Republican, we are all looking for good people for these elected positions. McCartney will do what she says and will make us a great register of wills. She has our votes on Nov. 3.
