Letters to the editor | Won’t be fooled again

Steve Dershem’s vote to increase taxes by 23 percent in 2009 put significant strain on working families’ already tight budgets.

In 2007, he campaigned on not raising taxes and then, once elected, broke his promise. This year he is running on the same platform: no tax increases. “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on us.”

Vote for anyone except Dershem, the only candidate for commissioner who has raised our taxes.
