We are lucky to have four excellent candidates for State College Borough Council, two women and two men with different talents that will work well together to benefit us all.
Cathy Dauler, the lone incumbent, who has a proven record and the know-how to get things done;
Janet Engeman, known for her strong commitment to the environment and our neighborhood quality of life, who has made a big difference in a short period of time;
Jesse Barlow, a well-respected IT professor who makes time for community, serves on the State College Community Land Trust, and worked to get me — and others — elected to borough office.
David Brown, a recently retired psychologist, is bringing his broad experience in a lengthy career to help build bridges and communication.
These are people who want to keep living in our town affordable as well as a great place to live. Please vote for them all on Nov. 3.
