Voters fed up

I read the articles about Republicans in a tizzy about how to get Donald Trump out and how the world is viewing this election (CDT, 3/3).

Does either party have any kind of analysts that advise them? Do either of the parties ever step back to see what the voters are really saying and telling them? Are they so blasé in their thinking that they think they know what the voters want?

They should step back and really take a good long look; the voters are fed up with the way this country is being run (and how it’s been run in the not-so-distant past).

We want them to stop thinking about themselves first and really consider what is best for the country not what is best for them. (Geez, didn’t we have a president a while back that made a real similar speech?) Neither party cares about the taxpayers.

We’re no different now than when there were the lords (politicians) and the serfs (us taxpayers). They get into office and because of their overinflated egos, due to their perceived power over us serfs, they don’t do anything that will truly help this country. They do just enough to get re-elected to stay in their ivory towers.

At least one candidate has done things that if any of us serfs would have done it we would have been locked up and the key thrown away. Wake up, politicians. We’re tired of all this crap.
