Centre County Baseball League: Spring Mills drops Pleasant Gap

The Spring Mills Braves battled their way back to .500 on the season with a win over Pleasant Gap on Sunday.

The Braves got a four-run second inning to take a lead they wouldn’t surrender. Spring Mills (10-10) added three more runs in the fourth and another in the sixth. Pleasant Gap scored its runs in the fourth and fifth innings but couldn’t crack Pleasant Gap pitching the rest of the way.

Jordan Brennen picked up wth win while Tyler Lalli took the loss for the Peppers (5-15). Kevin Conklin and Brandon Martz each had three hits for Spring Mills while Devin Alterio and Tony Rider smacked two singles apiece for the Peppers.
