Abby Showers caused a blizzard inside the gym Friday night, scoring a team-high 21 points in Philipsburg-Osceola’s 53-41 win over Central Mountain.

“She had a great game,” Lady Mounties coach Doug Myers said of Showers. “Our girls did a nice job getting her the ball. She’s doing a nice job attacking the basket.”

P-O and the Lady Wildcats were tied at 12 after the first quarter but a defensive change altered things in the second.

“We actually switched up defenses,” Myers said. “We went man-to-man and it caused some turnovers and led to some easy baskets.”
