Centre County League baseball: Pleasant Gap holds off Clarence

Pleasant Gap posted a four-run first-inning and held off Clarence for a 4-3 win to open a doubleheader for the Peppers at Governor’s Park on Sunday.

Tyler Lalli and Dan Roan each had RBI doubles in the four-run opening frame.

The Mounties rallied with a three-run third inning, paced by a two-run home run by Justin Taylor.

Tyler James pitched 41/3 innings of relief to earn the win.
