Penn State football coach James Franklin threw out the first pitch Thursday night for his hometown team.
Franklin, who grew up in Langhorne not far from Philadelphia, threw from the mound at Citizens Bank Park before the start of the Phillies’ game against the Atlanta Braves.
The appearance was part of a Thon Night at the ballpark, with proceeds from some ticket sales going to benefit the Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon and the Four Diamonds Fund.
