Five members of the national championship-winning Penn State women’s soccer team will train for the World Cup in Papua, New Guinea, the athletic department announced on Wednesday.
Rose Chandler, Maddie Elliston, Ellie Jean, Emily Ogle and Kaleigh Riehl will head to Papua New Guinea with the U.S. U-20 Women’s National Team. The five Penn State players is the highest representation from any school on the 21-member roster.
Chandler, Elliston, Ogle and Riehl will be making their third appearance at a U.S. U-20 WNT training camp.
