Clarence Mounties stay undefeated

The Clarence Mounties had an opportunity to remain undefeated on the season.

They did it — and they did it quickly.

The Mounties induced the mercy-rule on Sunday, throttling the Pleasant Gap Peppers 10-0 in five innings.

Justin Taylor led the Mounties at the plate, going 4 for 4 with two doubles, two singles and three RBIs.

On the mound, Justin Koleno earned his fifth win, allowing only two hits.

Steven Alterio was tabbed with the loss.
