Penn State and Lehigh will have to wait until next season to stage its 100th meeting.
The Nittany Lions advanced to the finals of the Virginia Duals with a 27-15 victory over Kent State. The big surprise came in the other semifinal, where Michigan defeated Lehigh 21-18. The Nittany Lions (9-0) and Wolverines meet at 8:30 p.m. Penn State also wrestles Michigan on Feb. 6.
The Nittany Lions received a boost against the Golden Flashes when Brad Pataky hit a cement mixer to pin 10th-ranked Nic Bedelyon in 4:02 at 125. Penn State opened a 24-0 lead before Kent State compiled its first victory: Ross Tice's 8-2 decision over Jake Kemerer at 165.
