Pennsylvania selections for the June 18 Big 33 Football Classic were just announced during the PCN's Farm Show coverage.
No State College players made the team. Penn Wood's Shawn Oakman, a Penn State recruit, made the team as an athlete. Oakman is 6-foot-9. Pennsylvania coach Tim Rimpfel of Cumberland Valley said during the broadcast Oakman is a capable of playing multiple positions. Penn State, by the way, received a oral commitment from Owings Mills (Md.) star Donovan Smith during today's United States Army All-American Bowl.
Harrisburg and Woodland Hills both placed three players on the Big 33 team. Harrisburg's selections included quarterback Jalen Fitzpatrick, offensive lineman Steve Finley and wide receiver Quinton Sullivan. Bishop McDevitt's Matt Johnson and Jameel Poteat also made the team.
