Notes: The Spikes enter the three-game series with the NY-PL’s worst offense. They own six hits and no runs over their past two games and are hitting .188 through six games. One positive: catcher Samuel Gonzalez leads the league with a .500 batting average. Gonzalez also has a team-high three RBIs. No other Spike has driven in more than one run. ...Hafner, a 17th-round draft pick last year from Lee’s Summit (Mo.) High School, pitched four scoreless innings last Saturday at Williamsport. ...The Jammers, a Florida Marlins affiliate, earned the NY-PL wildcard spot last season. Jamestown has six returnees, including outfielder Brent Keys, who hit .267 and stole 11 bases last summer. ...The Jammers are coming off a three-game sweep of Williamsport.
