Penn State women’s golf: Nittany Lions take 9th at Pinehurst Challenge

Penn State finished ninth out of 19 teams at the Pinehurst Challenge after shooting 13-over as a team in the final round Tuesday.

The Nittany Lions finished with a team score of 18-over. East Carolina shot 7-under to take first, and Chattanooga recorded a 1-under to finish second.

Jackie Rogowicz led Penn State, shooting even par to tie for 15th. Lauren Waller (tied 45th, 6-over), Halley Morell (tied 51st, 8-over), Ariana Coyle Diaz (tied 56th, 9-over), Kate Granahan (tied 75th, 14-over) and Grace Chung (tied 86th, 17-over) rounded out Penn State’s individual efforts.

The Nittany Lions are set to compete at the Landfall Tradition in Wilmington, N.C., from Oct. 22-25.
