Penn State cross country: Crawford paces Nittany Lions to victory

Penn State put three runners in the top 10 to win the women’s race on Senior Day at the Penn State Open on Saturday at the Penn State Golf Course.

State College graduate Victoria Crawford led the way with a third-place finish in 22 minutes, 37 seconds as the Nittany Lions finished with 37 team points.

Crawford was followed by Cara Ulizio (4th, 22:38), Megan Hellman (6th, 22:44), Lisa Bennatan (11th, 23:12), and Sarah Jane Underwood (13th, 23:17).

John Dugan took second to pace the men’s team in 26:25. He was joined by Timothy McGowan (5th, 26:49), Conrad Lippert (9th, 27:25), State College’s Will Cather (11th, 27:31) and Jordan Makins (27:32).
