Men’s tennis beats Florida Gulf Coast to close out USF Invitational

No. 23 Penn State men’s tennis (12-3, 0-1) beat No. 75 Florida Gulf Coast on 4-1 on Sunday to finish out the USF Invitational tournament.

The Nittany Lions were 2-1 against ranked opponents throughout.

“We ended the weekend on a successful note,” said head coach Jeff Zinn, per a release from Penn State Athletics. “We went home after the match against USF and worked on some things that helped us win today.”

The Nittany Lions return home to host the Michigan State Spartans and the Temple Owls on March 19.
