Nittany Lion men’s, women’s track teams fare well at Pac-12/Big Ten Challenge

The men’s and women’s teams placed second and third, respectively, among Big Ten competition at the Pac-12/Big Ten Challenge hosted by Arizona State, wrapping up competition on Saturday.

Penn State had 32 top-eight finishes and 12 top-3 marks over the weekend.

For the women’s team, Quenee Dale was third in the 100 hurdles, while Dannielle Gibson finished second in the 100 meter and first in the triple jump. In the shot put, Rachel Fatherly placed first and Alyssa Robinson was third, and Tal Ben-Artzi tied for third in the high jump.

On the men’s side, Brian Leap was second in the long jump and first in the triple jump, as Chisom Ifedi and Devin Gradham tied for second in the high jump.

The men’s 4x100 meter relay team came in second.

Penn State will split squads between the Stanford Invite and Florida Relays on April 1 and 2.
